A path from Tilbury to Leigh on Sea. Path or trail, 'Thames Estuary Path' or 'The Thames Path City to Sea', there seems be a level of ambiguity as to which is what. This path, in name seemingly related to the trail the Sustrans / TEP survey aims to establish, and also referred to on the TEP website, seems to be a standalone project though, by Essex County Council, and part-funded by the EU. It has its own website and app, and is divided into 5 sections, which all link up with train stations. A good effort in my view, although I'd like to see it continued to eventually take in all of the estuary much in the spirit of the Sustrans survey, both the Essex and the Kent coast.
